All keys of every piano model were meticulously recorded in full length with an impressive recording quality of 24-bit and 96 kHz stereo. This attention to detail ensures that every nuance and expression of the original piano is faithfully captured.

The "Colossus Concert Grand" model is an extraordinary dark brown piano that boasts 24 velocity layers per key. It also features dedicated sustain samples, release hammer sound, and an optional pad sound. This model weighs in at a substantial 14 GB in size.

The "Baby Grand" model offers a more intimate piano experience with 12 velocity layers per key. It includes dedicated sustain samples, release hammer sound, and an optional pad sound. This model occupies a more modest 6 GB of space.

The "Upright Piano" model provides a classic upright piano sound with its 8 velocity layers per key. It shares the same features as the other models, including dedicated sustain samples, release hammer sound, and optional pad sound. This model takes up approximately 3.4 GB of SSD space.

The "E-Piano" sound set is filled with nostalgia and includes 5 legendary E-Piano models from different generations or configurations. It offers a total of 17 E-Piano sounds, an optional pad sound, and an optional tremolo effect. This compact sound set takes up 1.6 GB of space.

This app supports Audio Unit v3, Inter-App Audio, Audiobus, and Bluetooth LE MIDI. These features open up a world of possibilities for integrating Colossus Piano into your music production workflow.

The software boasts a range of impressive features that enhance your playing experience. The modulation wheel allows you to control the most relevant sound parameter of the currently selected sound. Certain models also include a warm pad sound that can be activated or deactivated to provide additional support for the piano sound. The sustain pedal, sostenuto pedal, soft pedal, and expression pedal are all supported, giving you greater control over your performance. The hammer sound when releasing keys adds an extra layer of realism to some acoustic piano models.

In terms of performance, Colossus Piano offers up to several hundred stereo voices of polyphony (actual polyphony depends on the device model). The app supports low latency disk streaming and has configurable audio latency as low as 1 ms. Integrated effects with 18 presets are available to further enhance your piano sounds.

Additional features include App States for saving your app's entire state as user presets, a MIDI velocity response curve editor, background running capabilities, Master Tune, Scale Tuning & Hermode Tuning options, and an on-screen piano keyboard with velocity support that is both scalable and scrollable.

Included with Colossus Piano is a MIDI Player/Recorder that allows you to record, save, and load your songs in standard MIDI file format. You can easily share your songs as audio files and have unlimited tracks, recording, and playback length. The app also supports opening MIDI files directly from other apps and allows for MIDI file transfers with iTunes. The built-in metronome and tempo zoom dial knob add convenience and flexibility to your practice sessions.
